Ann's Top 5:

1. Sushi Sasa - the best sushi restaurant in Denver in my humble, unbiased opinion... Excellent tuna tartare, new-style sushi, fun asian-style martinis like cucumber and tangerine. The first time you go, try the Chef's Special which is a nice sampler of their standout dishes with one or two things that he just improvises on that day. Oh, but you will pay for it, but it's worth it.

2. Cafe Brazil - charming, latin cafe. Owned by a Columbian couple. Consistently good, interesting food. Xim Xim is very good as I recall. Good, well-priced Spanish and South American wines. Friendly staff!

3. Campo de Fiero - excellent Italian food!! Charming little cafe in Cherry Creek - 2 patios which are quieter than inside. Great wine, great food. Love the fra diavalo, salads, pastas, tiramisu. Great place for a date or for a romantic dinner.

4. Potager - fresh, changing menu (they use ingredients in their dishes from their garden which you can dine in). Interesting food. Last time I was there, I had fried green tomatoes, lobster risotto, and a goat cheese, tomato tart - yummmm! They pair wines with their food if you are so inclined and they have wine flights if you can't decide which white or red you want. Also, a good date place. Never disappoints.

5. Lola - great patio! Hmmm - excellent guacamole that they make tableside, fish dishes are exceptional. Good Malbec, silver coin margaritas, and sangria. Mondays they have HH prices on drinks all nite including house margs, silver coin margs, sangria and beer and $2 fish (until 6:30p) and chicken (all nite) tacos. Such a deal! Always enjoy myself here. In the summers, they have latin music on the patio on Sun afternoons.

Kristin's Top 5

1. Vita...love, love, love this place. Great happy hour! 2 for 1 drinks, 2 for 1 appetizers. You've got to try the mushroom gnocchi.

2. Parisi's...if you like Italian food, you'll love this place. Again, their gnocchi is fantastic! The gelato's not too shabby, either.

3. Meade St. Station...this is such a chill, local hangout bar. They have a great bar menu! You won't go wrong with the fish and chips, although I usually go with the fish and salad.

4. Duo...The atmosphere in this restaurant is perfect. The exposed brick, the old windows, the open kitchen. I usually go with the steak for dinner and any of the desserts.

5. The Tea Box...this is the best place for a light lunch. The half salad and 4 dumplings is a must! The white peach tea (either hot or cold) is perfect!
